- Code the backend of microservices of a robotics data platform service - Build the structure of a software application - Regularly optimise servers for speed and stability - Build security structures - Generate reusable code libraries - Create data storage solutions - Optimise execution speed of code and loading performance. - Write scripts for automated testing. - Write scripts for customised functions. - Containerise microservices. - Design and write server-side web application logic. - Write web services and APIs. - Define and maintain central database. - Optimise performance and responsiveness of the database. - Troubleshoot and debug applications. - Pair code review |

Must be able to: - Program in C++ and Python - Write ML (machine learning) algorithms - Design and code REST APIs - Program in WebGL, Three.js, Unity or other 3D engines - Use gRPC - Design and write scripts & functions for: Docker, cloud technologies (AWS S3, EC2, RDS, PostgreSQL, Azure) - Write customised AWS Lambda functions (serverless and containerised applications - Function as a Service) - Design an architecture of micro services using Kubernetes (container orchestration) - Design and code for database modelling and database management - SQL/no SQL databases - Write scripts for software test and verification Nice to be able to: - Develop in both Windows and Linux |
