Infosys is looking for a program manager who will lead the strategic initiatives and programs for our customers such as Japanese megabanks, insurance companies in Japan. Programs will involve due diligence / project preparation phase / Design / build/ implementation phase for rollout of new Digital platforms, to implement broad scope of automation and various tools and platforms, to greatly improve operations efficiency, to meet very aggressive multiyear target for FTE reduction. Design, direction, and project governance will be executed from Tokyo, and Infosys delivery will be handled from Tokyo and overseas.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Deep experience in grasping a situation in detail, navigating through stakeholders and guiding team members, to generate the required focus to achieve desired outcome
Diverse cultural experience across Japan and global teams and control them – native level Japanese skills and fluent in English
Skilled in Transformation, Change Management, Program/Project Management, Agile Delivery, Human Centered Design
Stakeholder management at different levels in the customer organization, to ensure successful sales win
Manage a small PM office for project planning, scope management, issue and risk management, budget management – internal to Infosys
May involve replacing or rehiring employees from the client
May Involve negotiations on rebadging/rehiring of some FTEs, working with large temp agencies for other FTEs, managing training plans, etc
Extensive experience working with C-Suite stakeholders for program reporting and governance
Experience in large-scale Programs (> 200 FTEs) is mandatory
Experience working as a senior manager on IT project execution (either as an employee or as a consultant) is mandatory
Native-level Japanese skills, with business-level English, is a must.
Techno-cross-functional 15-25 year experience in managing complex IT programs in Japanese banks (especially Megabanks) across different areas – core banking / online & mobile banking / payments / loans / deposits / banking regulation and compliance
Work experience with digital transformation program is a plus – Customer experience / Visual design / Digital marketing / API / AI / Cloud
Work experience with business consulting is a plus – business process engineering, operating model in a bank, business strategy
Work experience with global banking package is a plus – Oracle Flexcube, Temenos, Finastra, etc.
Knowledge/experience on life insurance is preferred
• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
Excellent customer interfacing skills.

Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
