At Marie School, we focus on teaching children practical English rather than "text book English". Our curriculum based on Math and Science engages the children to learn English proactively. We put emphasis on small classes to maximize the opportunities for the children to express themselves, as well as teachers can follow up each of them closely.
We conduct simple but exiciting science experiments with children's help based on Marie School's original curriculum. The children learn English through these expereiments using practical vocabulary and phrases while exploring science and being wondered by the results! We also hold a science fair at the end of year where the students oick the favorite experiments, conduct the experiments, prepare for the presentation, and finally present their findings in English in front of not only their parents but also many other class mates' parents. This event gives a studnet a motivation to work on the goal and a confidence to speak in front of people.
Small classes for intensive learning
We keep each class 4 children or less so that a student has an opportunity to speak up or get their hands on to the experiements often. This environment allows teachers to have more time with each student and follow up on their progress individually to help them improve. We also provide private lessons based on individual needs (eg. TOEFL, Eiken, SSAT/SAT, Math, etc).

School Environment
Being a small school, we work as one team including teachers, admin, and management which creates friendly and motivational environment.
Also our teachers and students truly enjoy spending their time together and we organize various seasonal events, such as Christmas and Halloween!
Our teacher, Mike even had the chance to take a part in a Japanese TV show - He conducted a scientific experiment in English with a famous Japanese comedian!
