Job Description |
As a Desktop Support Technician you will provide technical assistance, support and advice to users. Troubleshooting desktop computers, applications, networking problems, communication devices & video conferencing equipment. Communicate solutions and educate users of policy, procedure and best practices pertaining to information technology. Description * You will provide technical support to traders and other end-users mainly in Japan including hardware, software, and connectivity issues. * This role will provide day to day IT support to users across Japan, servicing users deskside and remotely. The duties will include but not limited to: * Troubleshoot PC related issues over the phone & onsite * Inventory Management * Mobile Device Support (smart phones, tablet, etc.) * Hardware support * Incident ticket management * Printing environment maintenance * Client software packaging/installing * Hardware kitting, PC setup (image cloning) * Direct on-site support desk shift from Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:30 Profile We're interested in hearing from people who have: * Japanese Language skill must be above fluent level AND proficient in English to communicate with various IT teams outside Japan * Experience in supporting Windows OS. *Experience in supporting Microsoft Office Suites * A proactive attitude is a must * Must have the ability to work independently as well as in a team WANT (not required) * Video Conferencing * Active Directory and Account creation * Server Rooms and Patching * Good knowledge on ITIL * Knowledge on Cisco products is highly regarded.
